Dear colleagues:
On behalf of the Commission on Infections in Immunocompromised Patients of the Argentine Society of Infectious Diseases (SADI), we are pleased to invite you to participate in the Second Biennial Symposium on Infections in the Immunocompromised Patient, to be held on November 26-27th, 2021. Due to the current epidemiological situation, as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held in a virtual format.
In September 2019, our Commission organized the First Symposium on Infections in the Immunocompromised Patient, attended by over 500 delegates, attracted by a comprehensive agenda with top local and international speakers.
The constant progress and availability of new therapeutic alternatives make continued professional update essential for the adequate prevention diagnosis and treatment of these infections. This need has encouraged us to organize this Second Symposium.
The International Immunocompromised Host Society (ICHS) and the Argentine Society of Transplants (SAT) will take part in our Symposium as Invited Societies.
We are sure that the vision and experience of the leading experts who will participate in the different sessions will provide new tools and deep knowledge for the management of infections in immunocompromised patients.
Thank you in advance for joining us in November.
